Every Substack has an RSS feed at /feed
Every Substack publication publishes its feed at the same path. No account, no email address, no unsubscribe links — the newsletter simply arrives in your reader like any blog.
https://NEWSLETTER.substack.com/feed
How to do it
- Take the newsletter's addressWhatever the publication's home is —
somename.substack.com— that is the base. - Add /feedThe feed is always at
…substack.com/feed. Custom-domain Substacks (likewww.example.com) follow the same rule: add/feedto the custom domain. - Paste it into your readerFree posts arrive in full. Paywalled posts arrive as previews — the feed marks where the paywall starts, so you still see that the post exists.
Verified Substack feeds we crawl
Live feeds from our own crawler — the post counts are measured over the last 90 days, not copied from anyone's marketing page. One click follows the feed in HushFlow Reader; the URL works in any reader.

Questions people actually ask
- Do paid Substack posts show up in the RSS feed?
- They appear as previews: title, opening paragraphs, then a paywall marker. Full text of paid posts requires subscribing through Substack itself.
- Is reading by RSS allowed, or a workaround?
- It is a supported feature — Substack publishes the feeds deliberately. Writers see RSS readers in their audience stats.
